This is a pretty cool campaign from Oasis.
Following a competitive internal competition, ‘Oasis Store Of The Year’, which saw Oasis mangers across UK and Ireland put forward their store teams to compete to be named the best in their business – Oasis, Patrick Street, Cork, took home the prestigious title, following a tough judging panel – the Oasis Executive team.
As their prize, the Cork team, led by manager Catriona Keeffe, will enjoy a day out on the exec team! The almost 20 strong team of staff members will be whisked off for a fun day out of pampering, while the Oasis Exec Team fly to Cork from London for the day to run the store on Tuesday 5th February.
All 8 members of the Oasis Exec team will go back to basics and operate the store on Cork’s Patrick Street for a full working day. They will be tasked with carrying out all of the every day operations of the store, from working the tills, to replenishing the shop floor, to serving customers and helping at the fitting rooms.
Design Director Clive Reeves will also be working the shop floor for the day, it’s the perfect opportunity for any fashionista’s to pick the designer’s brains on his favourite pieces to come from Oasis this season and find out the inspirations behind the product. Clive will also be hosting ‘Style Seminars’ on the shop floor, showing a rail of pieces to come from Oasis later this season, giving Cork customers a sneak peak at the upcoming product.
Managing Director Liz Evans and Deputy MD Hash Ladha are excited to go back to ‘real retailing’ for the day in Cork, and to meet the Oasis customers on the ground. Meanwhile the ‘Store of the Year’ Cork team will enjoy a day out at a local spa, knowing their shop is in safe hands!

Having worked in retail, I really do like this campaign. Not only is it a great way for Oasis to boost staff morale but it also shows the Exec team don’t mind getting their hands dirty. I’m looking forward to seeing how the day plays out. Not many brands would be willing to try something like this…
